Systems Developer

Reporting to: CIO

We are looking for an experienced software development professional to drive growth of our technology platforms.  The person we seek will join a team currently implementing best-in-class systems as a base for future business growth, with specific focus on integrating these platforms into processes with customers, vendors, and other third-party partners.

Position Summary

  • This position will be responsible for developing applications and integrations between and among our internal systems and those of customers, vendors, and other third parties to improve productivity of operations and customer satisfaction
  • Full life cycle engagement is required – from requirements gathering and documentation, systems design, coding, testing plan design and execution, to implementation and support
  • The ability to engage at all levels and with all functional areas of the organization is required


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assess and determine programmatic and process approach to solve specific business issues
  • Develop “stories” and use case descriptions to confirm requirements and desired outcomes with intended user community
  • Develop prototypes and proof-of-concept systems as necessary as a demonstration and definitional tool with user community
  • Works within and helps develop company standards to build, test, and deploy software solutions to solve specific business issues
  • Provide operational and programmatic support to existing and newly developed processes and systems
  • Integrate ERP and other core internal tools with external systems and processes used by customers, vendors, and other third parties
  • Improve technical environment by enhancing or simplifying operational systems
  • Maintain expertise in current and emerging technologies that impact the company’s operational capabilities

Position Requirements

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in computer science or another STEM discipline
  • 5+ years related experience including demonstrated abilities with modern technology platforms
  • Significant development experience utilizing RESTful or other API-based integrations
  • Experience with Big Data tools, data query languages, and analytical software is helpful


Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Must be able to handle and prioritize a wide variety of work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be a detail-oriented, organized, self-starter with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in multiple development environments with a strong desire to learn and apply newly acquired knowledge
  • Working knowledge of NetSuite, BigCommerce, HubSpot, and/or Accelos platforms is helpful

Sales Support Specialist/Customer Service

Reporting to: Director of Administration

Job Description:  Candidate will interact with customers, sales executives, and additional company personnel to provide and process information in response to customer orders, inquiries, concerns, and requests with regard to company products and services.


  • Process sales orders through ERP System/CRM System
  • Set up new customers and manage customer data in ERP system/CRM System
  • Maintain discretion of all customer information
  • Assist customers with inquiries including pricing, stock availability, tracking orders, RMA’s and general customer service information
  • Assist sales executives with processing paperwork for bids
  • Research carrier shipping issues and contact carriers, i.e. lost shipments, missing or damaged items in shipment, etc.
  • Download and process orders from client EDI websites
  • Assist with other miscellaneous tasks as assigned by sales executives
  • Help manage the general sales email account
  • Back up to Receptionist on incoming telephone calls



  • Self-starter; able to work well without constant direction
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize daily duties while completing various tasks in a timely manner
  • Ability to professionally interact with customers and co-workers
  • Proficient (Intermediate or Advanced) in the following programs:
    Windows Word (Letters, faxes, labels & envelopes, tables)
    Excel (creating, editing, formulas, manipulating mailing lists into mail merges)
    MS Outlook for email
  • Some experience preferred in an ERP and/or CRM system – NetSuite a plus
