AM Conservation Group Executive Team
John Bailes – President
John Bailes is the president of AM Conservation Group. He sets corporate strategy and direction, models and sets our corporate values, builds and leads the senior executive team and allocates capital to the company’s priorities. John has been with AM Conservation Group for over 10 years, most recently as vice president of sales. Prior to joining AM Conservation Group, he owned an advertising and marketing firm, and before that, he worked in sales management in the insurance industry. John has a bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing and management from the University of South Carolina.
Larry Earl – Vice President of Finance
Larry leads a staff of nine and manages all aspects of the finance function for AM Conservation Group, including the monthly close process, budget process, debt covenant compliance, internal management reporting and external reporting to Kohlberg and Company. Prior to joining AMCG, he spent nine years as CFO for the North American division of Belimed, a billion dollar global manufacturer, where he led a staff of 17 in managing all aspects of the finance, IT and sales operations functions in North America. Before that, Larry spent four years as CFO for the North American division of Stryker, a global manufacturer and distributor of specialty medical equipment. His early roles were in audit and finance management. Larry has an MBA from the University of Cincinnati and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Jim Koches – Vice President of Operations
Jim oversees day-to-day operations to support the growth and add to the bottom line of AM Conservation Group. He focuses on strategic planning and goal setting, and leverages his 18 years of experience to direct the operations of the company in support of its goals. By measuring and adjusting processes accordingly, Jim keeps program fulfillment on track. He provides operations support for AM Conservation’s utility programs with clients such as Duke Energy, Xcel Energy, Salt River Project, Georgia Power and more. Prior to joining AM Conservation Group, Jim was a plant superintendent, operations lead and process engineer.
Danielle Marquis – Director, Marketing Strategy
Danielle leads the marketing team and directs strategic brand development for AM Conservation Group, Service Concepts, Niagara Conservation and Simply Conserve. She is a member of the Association of Energy Services Professionals board of directors, and serves the board as vice chair of education. Danielle has 15 years of senior management and entrepreneurial experience in the energy services, sports and nonprofit industries. She has extensive branding, marketing and advanced market segmentation experience. Danielle has a juris doctor from the University of Colorado and a bachelor’s degree, magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, from Union College, where she double majored in economics and political science.
Dave Poole – Chief Information Officer
Dave leads all enterprise-level information technology and reporting functions. He has more than 30 years of executive, senior management and entrepreneurial experience in the franchising, manufacturing and consumer products industries. Dave has led global teams in support of major strategic system upgrade and e-commerce initiatives during periods of growth.
Sharon Tremblay – Director of Administration
Sharon is an accomplished human resource (HR) professional with over 25 years of experience in HR and administrative management. Sharon is responsible for implementing HR management strategies that enable AM Conservation Group to recruit, train and retain a motivated and high performing employee workforce. Sharon specializes in staffing, employee benefits, employee relations as well as development and implementation of company policies and procedures. She also leads the customer service team and is responsible for maintaining excellent customer service and customer satisfaction. Sharon is certified through the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
